Dijon – Honey Vinaigrette
This is my go-to vinaigrette for giving life to a mixed greens salad. It is the creation of Chef Alastair Nisbet, formerly of Aberdeen, Scotland, and presently the owner of The Scottish Arms in St. Louis.
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon white sugar
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
Mix the ingredients in a mixing bowl.
