Shrimp with Orange Beurre Blanc
I was going through the freezer and discovered a box of Desert Sweet Shrimp. Hmmmm…. We haven’t had shrimp in a while. The carrot/parsnip dish isn’t exactly a good match but what the heck. My Wife loves shrimp. My Wife loves the carrot/parsnip dish. Hey we have a winner! And then Safeway had the little white Dutch potatoes again, and everybody in the Fumbling Foodie household loves Pomme de Terre de Hollande (Someday I’m going to learn to pronounce that).
The shrimp receipe is one I found on Simply Recipes. I don’t think I got the Beurre Blanc as thick as I would like, but it appears to be the same consistency as her photo. I have trouble getting Beurre Blanc sufficiently emulsified without getting it splattered everywhere.

I made a pineapple beurre blanc a few months ago- heaven. Yours looks plenty thick enough, and I bet it was wonderful on that shrimp.
