Bucky over at Buckey’s Barbeque Blog is hosting Carnival of the Grill Edition 2.

While Bucky may think that most of us put the grill into hibernation about Labor Day, I am here to tell you that out here in Arizona he’s got it all backwards. During the summer, when the temperatures outside approach 183 in the shade, not much happens outside. We all retreat to the air-conditioned comfort indoors and eat gazpacho.

Now that the outside temps are low enough that we don’t get third-degree burns from touching metal exposed to the sun, it’s time to wander outside and see what vegetation survived. And the grilling season has just started.
