My New Roasting Pan

Yesterday I made my weekly visit to my favorite cooking tools store here in Glendale, Arizona and asked Heather, the proprietor “What’s New?” With a gleam in her eye she said, “Viking’s new roasting pan.” At that point I knew my bank account was going to take a hit. I have a Viking saute pan and saucepan and love them so much I have been known to take them with me on vacations when I expect to be cooking. Not only that, a few weeks ago I told her I was looking for a stainless steel roasting pan.

Well, she showed it to me and if you are a tool junky like me you already know the rest of the story. The thing is a beauty. So it sits on the cookware rack above the other Viking stuff hanging thre, and I’m looking for the right turkey recipe to break it in with.
